The Design Journey
Introducing Ria Ashcroft Hart, our in-house interior designer here at Reloved Upholstery and Design. Ria believes that sustainable, biophilic and human-centred design improves the wellbeing of individuals and businesses. This is a design approach that delivers on the triple bottom line for people, planet and prosperity.
Starting with a consultation at our studio, we will discuss your ideas and needs to develop your design concept. The meeting gives us an opportunity to share our Reloved story and what drives us along with getting to understand you, your values, tastes and practical design requirements. This can also be arranged as a virtual consultation.
Begining with a site survey, we will develop our plans to answer all aspects of the brief. These will then be presented and can include options for finishes & fixings, joinery, furniture or furniture restoration projects. This is a collaborative stage of the design process where we review and make decisions together before moving onto the next design phase.
Developed Design Presentation
Back at the Reloved Design Studio, we will continue to develop the design before presenting our final design and schedules in line with the agreed budget. Any adjustments required will be made accordingly before sign-off.
Your final design may include some or all of the following: mood boards, 2D & 3D visualisations, general arrangement plans, electrical plans, detailed joinery drawings, a list of fixtures, fittings, finishes and furniture with a schedule of works and pricing.
We can also help you to execute with different levels of installation and/or on-site supervision.
As a multidisciplinary design studio we have on offer an array of additional services with a sustainable and reloved focus including, Interior Styling, Commerical Space Curation, Staging, Reclaimed Furniture Sourcing and Furniture Restoration to name but a few!
