A pair of Harris Tweed cocktail chairs

We have been working to a tight deadline this week.  To get a pair of Harris Tweed cocktail chairs stripped, reupholstered and shipped to Dublin.  And we’re pleased to say we did it and they have arrived safely.

The vintage cocktail chair is one of our most popular items for sale. We source these mid-century chairs from Europe and upholster them in Harris Tweed. This particular collection is exclusive to Reloved Upholstery. They are available in one of four colours, red, orange, turquoise herringbone and our most popular colour mustard yellow.

Each chair is stamped with the Reloved Upholstery logo, to identify it and fabric is all labelled with the Harris Tweed orb mark –  this is one of the UK’s oldest certification marks!

Making an identical pair this week was novel.  Usually our orders come either one a time, for a chair and matching cushion or two complementary chairs.  So we tackled these in tandem.  Check out the images to see our process.
