Benchair retro dining chairs
These Benchair retro dining chairs are the latest Reloved project. They have been nurtured, restored and sent off to their new home in Hampstead. These little beauties were first made in the 1960’s and were originally covered in blue vinyl.
Made entirely of solid beech, the legs and frames were all in great condition. Each chair was stripped of the old vinyl, foam and hessian. We sanded the frames and waxed the legs a to bring them back to their original glory. We then re-webbed each chair and applied felt to the seats and foam to the backs.
They are a perfect addition to a vintage or retro inspired dining room or kitchen, A Benchair even makes a great desk or dressing table chair.

Breathing life into a 60’s Benchair
Each chair was then reupholstered in 100% pure woven merino Lambswool from the Abraham Moon & Sons Boutique Islington Plains range in rust.
The newly reupholstered chairs with their 21st century makeover have taken on a new leave of life and are fit for a contemporary dining experience. These Benchair’s are now Reloved into there new homes in Hampstead, London.
