Geometric bar stools project for BBC’s Money for Nothing

Just a short blog this week, to let you know that we’ve been working on another project for the  BBC’s ‘Money for Nothing’ TV show.

It maybe TV, but it’s not all glltz and glamour, and we’ve still got our feet firmly planted on the ground.  Lots of new customer projects are in the making, and we have a new product launch very soon.  We’ll be sure to keep you posted.

Geometric bar stools – what we did

The latest project to tackle was a pair of rescued bar stools, which we upcycled for the show in a rather distinctive way.

Although contemporary, the stools have a slightly nostalgic, american diner feel. So we decided to go bold and picked a complimentary cloth.  The fabric is is a rich viscose velvet from Kirkby Designs. This was introduced on the Piccadilly line in 1997, when the old 1973 tubes underwent a huge refurbishment.  The intricate, geometric design was chosen to co-ordinate with the launch of the new carriage interiors. We think they really bring these old stools back to life.

Measurements:

  • stool height Lowest point 60cm
  • stool height highest point 84cm
  • seat dimension 38cm

Price: £350.00 for the pair. Take a look in the store for further details.
