New from Reloved: Upholstery courses
New upholstery courses starting in the New Year!
Following my recent appearance on BBC’s Money for Nothing, I’ve been inspired to offer upholstery courses, (after so many of you lovely people enquired). So here we go, I’m kicking off 2018 with a series of footstool upholstery courses inspired by my recent venture into TV land.
My workshops will teach students the foundations of upholstery, while I hope to expand on classes to offer skills in embroidery, chair making and, paint techniques.
Starting in January, there will be two courses for two different styles of footstool; the fully upholstered cube, and the ottoman, a large footstool that can also double as a coffee table. The cube course teaches students the basics in upholstery, while those on the ottoman course also learn paint techniques using Reloved vintage paints.
Courses are capped at 6 people. to maximise tuition time. Reloved workshop students will also be offered discounts on all fabric ranges including Flock Studio, Kirkby Design and St. Judes.
