Reloved Upholstery cocktail chairs

We have just launched our very first signature collection (hurray)!  Our Reloved Upholstery cocktail chairs are available in a vibrant mustard yellow, jewel pink, grey, tangerine, coral and turquoise.

These chairs are handmade from scratch, and are based on the smaller mid-century cocktail chairs that we import from Europe for restoration – these smaller ones are also available in the store.

Our cocktail chairs are larger than the 1950’s original, meaning they are much more suited to today’s lifestyle.

This is our contemporary take on mid-century cocktail chairs. Each chair is skilfully upholstered using a mix of traditional and modern methods.  The frames are built from scratch and covered in a foam replacement (coir), before being upholstered by hand in the bold wool cloth. Each chair is finished with piping and two-button detailing to the back. We also offer two types of finish for the legd, a natural or dark wax finish.

We use fabric from Kirkby Designs’ Leaf collection.  This gorgeous collection is made completely of recycled wool fabric, that is ethical and beautiful. It has limited impact on the environment, as the collection uses salvaged yarns from the fashion industry, and is made with reconstituted wool from Italy.

We decided to introduce this contemporary wool collection for those who choose to add a splash of colour through soft furnishings. We are really excited to be launching this, our first collection to the public. By creating a larger cocktail chair, we’re reaching out to more people, those who want new, but love that vintage look. Our use of ethical fabric means we have a have a strong product that complements our other ranges and upholstery services.
