Are you ready to take your furniture up cycling to the NEXT LEVEL? Join me for a day of creativity and relaxation at my new Metallics Masterclass workshop at the fabulous Pear Mill Vintage Emporium in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
Learn the art of distressed painting, gilding and metallic foiling techniques on a variety of surfaces, such as picture frames, side tables and ornaments.
I’ll work with you to prep, paint and age your very own vintage home accessory… which you can take home at the end of the day.
Suitable for enthusiastic, hands-on beginners and/or those of you who are already keen up-cyclers, workshop attendees will learn about the products and methods I use to create “faded glamour”!
Using a carefully selected mix of painting, distressing, gold leafing and metallic foiling techniques, this is the chance to create the one-off, antiqued finishes I love to employ in my own home and commissions.
For those who want to learn decoupage skills on top, I’m happy to include that into your day also.
The day is also about relaxation and fun! I started glamcycling furniture as a hobby to de-stress and unwind, which is why I call it my “upcyclatherapy.”
Hosted at the wonderful, warm and inviting Reloved Works studio at Pear Mill Vintage Emporium… truly a vintage shopaholic’s dream destination! Groups are small – up to 5 maximum to ensure my guests get plenty of one-to-one assistance and time for chats!
All paints and materials supplied, although there will be opportunities to purchase additional products to take home with you for future projects.
Please note, I provide items to work on during the day, but those of you who want to bring along your own piece along, please do so! Just send me a snap of what you want to bring, and I’ll confirm if it’s a suitable project for the day. Items which are suitable include:
- Small vintage side tables
- Ornate / carved picture frames or mirrors
- Large vases or lamp bases
- Decorative serving trays, ceramic ware
